A Taste of the Philippines

A Taste of the Philippines is a food-centric celebration designed to showcase the local Filipino-American food culture of Jacksonville.
This event kicks-off with a film screening of our documentary, #MoreThanLumpia, in the Bryan-Gooding Planetarium at the Museum of Science & History followed by an panel discussion with distinguished Filipino-American chefs representing restaurants and resorts such as Salt at the Ritz-Carlton, The Florida Yacht Club, One Ocean Resort & Spa, The Sawgrass Marriott, Valley Smoke Restaurant, and Gilbert's Southern.
Attendees are invited to experience the rich taste and culture of the Philippines through a selection of tastings provided by Jax Filipino Chefs, traditional live music and dance performances, and Filipino-inspired cocktails.
